Chartiers Center is seeking a Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker to provide in-home, community-based support for adults with mental health needs. You will help clients build independent living and social skills, and pursue recovery goals with compassionate advocacy.

Responsibilities include regular home visits, documenting progress, and connecting clients to supports. Competitive hourly pay up to $22.83 with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
• Associate degree with relevant experience also acceptable.
• CPS certificate with additional mental health experience considered.
• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years in human services including mental health work.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with clients in home/community to teach independent living, social, and job-search skills.
• Maintain a weekly schedule prioritizing face-to-face client meetings.
• Document meetings, interventions, client responses, and concerns thoroughly.

Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitaiton Worker

Description

Chartiers Centeris a private, non-profit corporation funded by state, county, 3rd party insurances and private funds. Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach and housing program.

As a Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Workerwith Chartiers Center, you will provide individualized, community-based support to program participants in their homes and throughout the community. You will help individuals develop the skills, confidence, and resources needed to achieve greater independence, improve daily functioning, and work toward their personal recovery goals. Through compassionate support, skill-building, and advocacy, you will play a vital role in helping participants lead fulfilling, productive, and meaningful lives.

Job Duties include:

Meet regularly with a caseload of clients in their home or community to teach them needed skills such as independent living skills, social skills, and job search skills, and help connect them with supports such as needed living resources and social opportunities

Maintain a weekly schedule where the majority of your work time is spent in face-to-face client meetings

Thoroughly document client meetings to reflect work completed and interventions delivered, as well as client’s response to service and any client concerns

This role provides advancement opportunities upon successful completion of the CPRP exam, leading to a promotion to Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist

Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degreeand preferably 1 year work experience in mental health direct service (preferred)

OR

An associate degree and 2 years’ work experience in mental health direct service

OR

A CPS certificate and 1 additional year work experience in mental health direct service

OR

A High School Diploma or GED and 3 years' work experience in human services which must include 1 year of mental health direct service

Valid driver's license required.
