Job summary

Swoon partners with a major U.S. airline to hire an Associate Product Owner for its mobile customer channel.

You will own mobile product work, prioritize across roadmaps and backlogs, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, UX, Analytics, and Architecture to push features across the customer journey. The role requires 3+ years of hands-on mobile ownership, experience shipping iOS/Android features, and translating objectives into clear user stories and technical requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience with hands-on product ownership responsibilities.
• Direct experience owning a mobile application or meaningful mobile product area, including roadmap/backlog ownership, prioritization, user stories, and delivery.
• Solid understanding of mobile application technology and experience working across both iOS and Android environments.
• Enough technical depth to work with Engineering and Architecture around APIs, backend integrations, system dependencies, and production deployment.
• Strong analytical experience and ability to tie feature launches to measurable outcomes.
• Experience working in Agile/software development environments with technical delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize mobile product work across the roadmap and backlog based on business objectives and customer needs.
• Deliver new features across iOS and Android applications.
• Translate product objectives into clear user stories and technical requirements for engineering.
• Partner with engineers, architects, UX, and Analytics to understand API and backend dependencies.
• Participate in the full Agile delivery lifecycle from backlog grooming to release activities.
• Handle production issues, prioritize defects, and balance fixes with enhancements.
• Define and track metrics to assess feature impact on customer behavior and outcomes.
• Evaluate mobile technologies and third-party tools that could expand capabilities.
• Collaborate with other product teams to surface customer experiences through mobile.
