Job summary

Central Pyramid is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The role involves implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and assisting with patient education in home and facility settings.

The position requires an Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program and completion of the state exam. Bilingual Spanish preferred; travel to patient homes may be required to deliver care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapist in assessment and treatment.
• Implement treatment plans and document progress.
• Prepare and maintain adaptive devices and orthotics as directed.
• Educate patients and families on care plan and exercises.
• Support scheduling and coordination with the care team.
• Submit billing, payroll and expense documentation accurately.
• Adhere to infection control standards and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
