Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver in-home physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The PTA will implement chosen components of patient interventions and treatments with a focus on home health care.

Requirements include a CAPTE-accredited PTA program, current unrestricted PTA license, valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and reliable transportation with insurance. Salary ranges per visit apply.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current unrestricted PTA license or certification (state specific).
• Current unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Experience as required by the current practicing State Board to treat patients in their homes.
• Therapy skills consistent with generally accepted standards of practice per the APTA.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment appropriate for physical therapy needs.
• Proof of current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation with valid auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision and direction of the licensed physical therapist.
• Implement selected components of patient interventions and treatments.
• Work in patients' homes delivering skilled PTA services as prescribed.
