Your Health in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Primary Care Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team, supporting licensed physical therapists in delivering rehabilitative care to homebound patients. You will help implement treatment plans, guide patients through exercises, educate on proper techniques, and document progress to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current licensure or eligibility to practice as PTA in SC.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Assist licensed physical therapists in delivering rehab services.
• Conduct and supervise therapeutic exercises with patients.
• Educate patients on proper techniques and home exercises.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized therapy environment and sanitize equipment.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for patient care.
• Assist with discharge planning and follow-up care.
