Rehab Without Walls® Neuro Rehabilitation in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Physical Therapist to deliver functional rehabilitation in real-life settings—homes, schools, workplaces and the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of work experience as a physical therapist preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration and optimize patient outcomes.
