Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Indiana is seeking a staff supervisor for donor collection operations. You will oversee a mobile team, ensure safety and quality, and drive on-time delivery of services.

The role requires phlebotomy expertise and strong leadership to coach staff and maintain regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include site setup, donor screening, and coordination of travel to multiple collections sites, while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining donor safety and

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience and medical environment familiarity.
• Supervisory/coaching experience preferred.
• Understanding of DOT guidelines and safety standards.
• Strong customer service and complaint handling skills.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Follows DOT guidelines when operating the mobile van and transports staff and supplies safely.
• Leads donor collection team; trains and mentors team members.
• Prepares collection site and sets up technology systems and quality control.
• Travels to other collection sites as needed.
• Performs donor screening, mini-physical, phlebotomy, and automation procedures.
