Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Indiana is seeking a Donor Box Truck Driver Specialist who will operate mobile drive vehicles and transport staff to donation sites. You will deliver high-quality donor experiences while maintaining safety and compliance.

You will support site setup, donor screening, phlebotomy, and donor follow-up. The role emphasizes teamwork, professional communication, and reliability in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proven ability to provide outstanding donor-centered service.
• Ability to follow DOT guidelines and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a full-size van/box truck following DOT guidelines.
• Prepare collection site and set up technology systems as needed.
• Perform donor screening, mini-physical and phlebotomy.
• Deliver a service-centric donor experience with professional communication.
• Assist automation processes (Alyx/Trima) and recruit donors.
• Maintain equipment, complete records, and ensure donor identification.
• Rebook donors for future appointments and support team culture.
