Job summary

The Health Alliance seeks a traveling phlebotomist to service Skilled Nursing Facilities and Private Residential homes. You will collect urine and other specimens, ensure timely processing, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities include following procedures, maintaining logs, answering calls professionally, handling confidential information, stocking supplies, and supporting team projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Collect specimens following established procedures.
• Read, understand and follow departmental policies and manuals.
• Maintain all collection logs and required documentation.
• Ensure timely completion of requisitions.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Travel to Skilled Nursing Facilities and Private Residential homes to collect specimens.
• Process and package specimens for transport and maintain required records.
• Answer phones and communicate with clients professionally and courteously.
• Keep work area neat and dispose of biohazard waste as scheduled.
• Assist with inventories and stocking of supplies; perform clerical duties.
