• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a phlebotomy program with internship.

Responsibilities

• Obtain blood and other specimens per department procedures.
• Register patients, document orders and patient demographics.
• Schedule venipunctures and ensure proper specimen labeling and handling.
• Maintain records of sample collection and transport to the lab.
