Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a phlebotomist to cover Outreach Patient Service Centers across Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts. Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience with venipuncture proficiency.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels and show courtesy and tact.
• Knowledge of aging processes and care considerations when drawing blood.

Responsibilities

• Cover Outreach PSCs in RI and nearby MA and perform home visits.
• Perform venipunctures and specimen collection for lab testing.
• Register patients, place test orders, and process specimens per policy.
• Maintain supplies, PPE, and equipment; ensure paperwork accuracy and tracking.
• Work independently and participate in on-call rotations across multiple sites.
