Job summary

Sprinter Health is hiring a Phlebotomist/Home Health Specialist to bring care directly to patients’ homes in the Houston area. You’ll perform blood draws, vitals, and general assessments, while traveling between visits and delivering a warm, professional patient experience.

Requirements include strong phlebotomy skills, current BLS, a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, and comfort using Apple iPhone/iPad and mobile health tech. This role offers independence and day-to-day variety.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills with experience handling challenging sticks.
• Home healthcare experience in roles like Phlebotomist, MA, LPN or LVN preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Availability Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• Ability to drive before 7:00 a.m. for early visits.
• Proficiency using Apple iPhones and iPads.
• State-specific certification or licensing requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patients’ homes within the assigned service area.
• Provide scheduled services including blood draws, vitals, height/weight measurements, urine collection, and support with Annual Wellness Visits.
• Use phlebotomy skills to make blood draws comfortable for each patient.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and professional experience in every patient’s home.
• Accurately document each patient visit using Sprinter technology.
• Label, handle, and transport specimens for lab drop off or shipment.
• Manage time, supplies, and schedule independently as you move from patient to patient.
