Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to provide clinical pre-analytical lab services at client sites in a mobile setting. You will complete assigned routes safely and promptly, identifying patients and delivering specimens to designated sites.

Candidates should be proficient in venipuncture and specimen labeling, and able to maintain sterile conditions while adhering to Universal Precautions. Strong communication with patients, families, and care teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required).
• Must hold a valid State Driver’s license with car insurance and good driving record.
• Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture using vacutainer and syringe.
• Ability to work in a mobile setting, maintain sterile conditions, and follow safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interaction skills with pediatric and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client facilities to collect samples according to routes.
• Identify patients, collect, label, process, and deliver specimens.
• Maintain specimen integrity and follow universal precautions.
• Communicate status and keep records per instructions.
• Ensure timekeeping and inventory management for supplies.
