Eastern Nephrology Associates, PLLC is seeking a phlebotomist to draw blood samples and collect specimens at multiple on-site locations. The role includes mobile phlebotomy travel between sites to support timely testing and delivery to laboratories.

The ideal candidate has a phlebotomy certificate/diploma and at least one year of experience, with proficiency in laboratory software such as Orchard, LIS, and EPIC, and a valid driver’s license for travel.

Formación

• Certificate or diploma in phlebotomy from an accredited program and one year experience or related education/experience.
• Preferred experience with Orchard software, Laboratory Information Systems, and EPIC.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Performs venipuncture and collects specimens at multiple sites, ensuring proper handling, packaging, and transport to designated laboratories. Travels between locations to provide mobile phlebotomy services.
• Prepares and processes specimens, including centrifuging and aliquoting, for laboratory testing.
• Troubleshoots specimen issues to ensure quality and accurate processing.
• Explains phlebotomy procedures to patients and provides excellent patient care during collection.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and compliant work environment by following policies and legal regulations.
• Resolves unusual test orders through appropriate communication with providers and staff, escalating unresolved issues to supervisors.
