Job summary

Madison Core Laboratories is seeking an experienced Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team and travel between multiple service locations. The role emphasizes safe, accurate specimen collection and strict adherence to patient care standards.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a preference for phlebotomy certification. A clean motor vehicle record is required for this position, with shifts typically in early morning

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred; clean motor vehicle record required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently collect blood and other specimen samples based on facility and patient needs.
• Verify patient identity and personal information using appropriate identification and/or medical records.
• Ensure the quality and appropriate quantity of all collected specimens.
• Properly label, handle, prepare, and transport specimens for laboratory testing.
• Respond professionally to patient questions and provide information regarding collection procedures.
• Maintain a compassionate and professional approach with diverse patients.
• Adhere to health, safety, infection-control, and laboratory standards while traveling between locations.
• Maintain reliability and effective time management for mobile routes.
• Follow supervisor instructions and perform other duties as assigned.
