Eastern Nephrology Associates (ENA) is seeking a full-time phlebotomist to draw blood at multiple locations in Jacksonville, NC. The role requires venipuncture of challenging veins and mobility between sites to support lab testing.

You will prepare, process, and transport specimens, maintain chain-of-custody, and ensure HIPAA-compliant handling. A certificate/diploma and 1 year of experience are required; familiarity with Orchard, LIS, and EPIC is preferred; valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in phlebotomy from an accredited program is required with one year experience.
• Experience with Orchard software, Laboratory Information Systems, and EPIC preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens at multiple sites.
• Travel between locations to provide mobile phlebotomy services.
• Prepare and process specimens, including centrifuging and aliquoting.
• Troubleshoot specimen issues to ensure quality.
• Explain phlebotomy procedures to patients and provide care.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant and safe work environment.
