Job summary

Natera is seeking a mobile phlebotomist to collect specimens, verify orders, and maintain specimen integrity in a mobile/remote setting. You will ensure patient identification, track draws, and report results while adhering to SOPs and PHI protections.

This role requires at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience and a High School Diploma with state certification as needed. Ability to travel and work in various settings is required.

Qualifications

• National Phlebotomy Certification may be required depending on the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies test orders by comparing information with requisition forms.
• Verifies patient by reading patient identification.
• Maintains specimen integrity by aseptic technique and following procedures.
• Tracks collected specimens by dating and noting times of collection.
• Maintains quality results by following procedures and testing schedule.
• Resolves unusual test orders by coordinating with mobile phlebotomy team.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Handles PHI securely in paper and electronic form.
• Logs job statuses in Skedulo.
