Job summary

American Health Associates is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist in Terre Haute, IN for part-time, flexible schedules. You will travel to patient homes and care settings to collect blood samples and provide compassionate service to elderly patients while ensuring proper labeling and transport of specimens.

Ideal candidates have phlebotomy certification and at least one year of experience, strong venipuncture skills, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and minimum age 21.
Clean criminal history, as required for positions with direct patient care; some states require additional background checks including fingerprinting.
Home Draws: Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience required; additional credentialing requirements must be completed prior to working on Home Draw team.

Responsibilities

Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Terre Haute, Indiana.
Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport.
Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility personnel.
