Job summary

American Health Associates is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to serve patients in Northeast Ohio, visiting homes, skilled nursing and assisted living communities. Travel required to patient locations across the Cleveland/Akron region, performing venipuncture with care and ensuring proper labeling and transport of specimens.

Ideal candidates have phlebotomy certification (or equivalent experience), strong communication, and the ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Northeast Ohio.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility staff.
