Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional phlebotomy experience with strong venipuncture skills and ability to work independently.
• Current phlebotomy certification and proficiency in patient identification, labeling, processing, and transport.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient locations to perform specimen collections (venipuncture and specialized collections) while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Manage schedule to arrive on time, accounting for travel and deadlines; address delays promptly.
• Ensure specimen quality with proper labeling, processing, packaging, and transport per lab requirements.
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of patient interactions and results, adhering to HIPAA and infection-control protocols.
• Resolve field issues (collection challenges, missing information) and communicate unresolved matters promptly.
• Represent VIP Labs professionally to create a safe, confidential service environment for patients.
