Job summary

VIP Labs LLC is seeking an experienced Mobile Phlebotomist to collect specimens at patient homes and other approved sites. The role requires traveling to locations, maintaining specimen integrity, and documenting interactions while upholding HIPAA standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of phlebotomy experience, current certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently in diverse settings, including geriatric or homebound patients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional phlebotomy experience with venipuncture.
• Current phlebotomy certification and proper specimen handling.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to travel to patient locations independently.
• Geriatric/homebound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient locations to perform specimen collections.
• Manage your schedule and arrive on time for appointments.
• Ensure specimen labeling, handling, packaging and transport per lab requirements.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation of patient interactions and results.
• Resolve field issues and communicate unresolved matters promptly.
• Represent VIP Labs with professionalism in a confidential service environment.
