Job summary

VIP Labs LLC seeks a Mobile Phlebotomist to deliver in-home and on-site specimen collection services as an independent contractor. You will travel to patient locations, perform venipuncture and specialized collections, and ensure specimen integrity while following HIPAA and safety guidelines.

The role offers flexible scheduling, contractor autonomy, and the chance to serve diverse patient populations across homes and healthcare facilities in the Arlington Heights area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience.
• Current phlebotomy certification.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Ability to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient locations to perform specimen collections.
• Manage schedule to arrive on time, accounting for travel and lab deadlines.
• Ensure specimen quality with proper labeling, processing, and transport.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant, accurate documentation of interactions and results.
• Resolve field issues and communicate unresolved matters promptly.
• Represent VIP Labs with professionalism in a confidential service environment.
