Job summary

Diagnostic Laboratories & Radiology seeks a dedicated driver/phlebotomist to travel to client sites, primarily nursing homes, for specimen collection. You will identify patients, collect and label specimens, and ensure safe delivery to the lab while maintaining records and equipment.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license; CPT/Phleb Cert - Level 1 is preferred. Mileage reimbursement is offered, and candidates must adhere to universal precautions and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPT/Phleb Cert - Level 1 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client facilities (mostly nursing homes) as directed by dispatcher.
• Identify patient before collecting specimens.
• Collect, label, process and deliver specimens.
• Maintain time records and manage shift duties.
• Follow specimen preservation and patient prep procedures as written.
