Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to cover Outreach PSCs across Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts. You will travel to patient homes, long-term care facilities, and other sites to collect blood specimens, perform venipunctures, and ensure proper specimen handling and transport.

Responsibilities include patient registration, test ordering, processing, and maintaining supplies, while delivering compassionate, professional service.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification required.
• Experience with home visits and long-term care settings preferred.

• Ability to work independently and travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens from homebound patients and facility residents.
• Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures as required.
• Register patients, order tests, and process specimens.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; document hours and mileage.
• Follow safety and universal precautions; adhere to policies.
