Job summary

HNL Lab Medicine is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and specimen collection at client sites and home draws. You will register patients, explain collection procedures, and travel regularly to nursing homes and home draw locations under general supervision.

The role requires a High school diploma or GED and may require bilingual abilities depending on service location. Onsite work with possible frequent travel is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred with related training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and procedural manuals.
• Bilingual ability may be required depending on location.
• Typing and basic computer skills for data entry and records.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipunctures at mobile sites and home draws.
• Collects specimens and explains collection procedures to patients.
• Registers patients and verifies billing information.
• Travels to nursing homes and home draw locations as needed.
• Processes, stores and transports specimens according to SOPs.
