Job summary

CompuNet Clinical Laboratories, LLC seeks a part-time phlebotomist to travel to Long-Term Care facilities and offsite sites for specimen collection and processing. The role includes floating between facilities and homes to provide quality phlebotomy services as needed.

The position offers a starting wage of $23.00 per hour for a 32-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, with early morning shifts (4:00am–11:00am). A company vehicle is provided for driving duties during shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy experience of at least 6 months.
• Experience in long-term care is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation to multiple facilities.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be insurable on corporate auto policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and processing duties per procedures.
• Identify patients and label specimens correctly.
• Process specimens to maintain integrity for transport.
• Travel to LTC facilities and patient homes for collections.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment and computers.
• Read and receive all laboratory tests ordered.
• Complete training when procedures change.
• Comply with safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Work as part of a team and support others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
