Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Clean criminal history, as required for positions with direct patient care; some states require additional background checks including fingerprinting.
• Home Draws: Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience required; additional credentialing requirements must be completed prior to working on our Home Draw team!
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Must possess a passion for SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Peoria, IL
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility personnel
