American Health Associates in South Bend, IN is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist for home visits and community-based blood draws. This part-time role offers flexible schedules and the chance to bring laboratory services directly to patients in homes, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.

The ideal candidate has phlebotomy certification (or equivalent) and strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients, and can work independently while delivering compassionate, professional

Competenze

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and minimum age 21.
• Clean criminal history, as required for positions with direct patient care; some states require additional background checks including fingerprinting.
• Home Draws: Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience required; additional credentialing requirements must be completed prior to working on our Home Draw team!
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Mansioni

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across South Bend, Indiana.
• Collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility personnel.
