Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to service client facilities in California. You will drive a personal vehicle to sites, perform venipuncture, label and transport specimens, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

You must hold a current state phlebotomy license, a valid driver’s license, and maintain sterile practice. The role requires clear communication with dispatchers and adherence to universal precautions, with duties including specimen processing and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Current, valid State phlebotomy license.
• Current, valid State Driver’s license; car insurance; good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive personal vehicle to client facilities (nursing homes) as directed by dispatcher.
• Unload phlebotomy tray and take to patient’s bedside to collect samples.
• Identify patient accurately before collecting specimens.
• Collect, label, process, and deliver specimens to appropriate destinations.
• Reload equipment and all necessary specimens to vehicle for prompt delivery.
• Communicate regularly with dispatcher to report status and location.
• Adhere to Universal Precautions to prevent pathogen exposure.
