Job summary

Getlabs is seeking a PRN Mobile Phlebotomist to visit patients at home or in offices, collecting specimens using standard blood collection procedures. This role requires a valid phlebotomy certification and at least 1 year of experience, with mobile/phlebotomy experience preferred.

You will collaborate with the operations and patient-experience teams and must be comfortable with early start times and driving to appointments.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience (mobile preferred).
• Experience processing samples.
• Certification from a national agency such as AMT, ASCP, or NCCT.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to drive in the dark with early starts (as early as 5am).
• Ability to access patients’ homes and handle physical tasks (kneeling, bending, stairs, carrying).

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in their home or office and travel between appointments in your own vehicle.
• Follow safe blood collection procedures and process specimens with high accuracy.
• Coordinate with operations and patient experience teams during business hours.
• Confirm availability weekly and be scheduled as needed for shifts within your availability.
• Maintain flexible scheduling as a PRN role, with a minimum of three days per week during early hours.
