Job summary

Trident Care is seeking a phlebotomist to travel to client facilities across California. Duties include collecting blood samples and accurately labeling specimens while meeting patient care standards.

Candidates must hold state licensure (if required), knowledge of medical terminology, and a valid driver's license with reliable vehicle access. Strong English communication and professional conduct are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have current clinical licensure as required by the state.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to laboratory work.
• Proficient in phlebotomy procedures, including venipuncture.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Drive personal vehicle to client facilities as directed by dispatcher or supervisor.
• Perform blood draws following established phlebotomy procedures.
• Identify patients correctly prior to drawing.
• Label specimens with requisition and billing information.
• Safely transport PHI in compliance with policy.
• Plan draw schedules with patient priority.
• Complete logs, timesheets, and records accurately.
• Coordinate with dispatch, payroll, lab, and courier teams.
• Maintain equipment and report issues promptly.
• Be reachable on duty and respond to dispatch.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
