Versiti Blood Research Institute is seeking a Donor Box Truck Driver to support mobile collection operations. You will transport staff and donors safely, perform setup, and conduct donor screening and phlebotomy as part of a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes excellent donor experience, teamwork, and adherence to regulatory requirements. A valid driver license and box truck certification are required, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 1–3 years in customer-facing roles preferred; less than 1 year required.
• Knowledge: ability to read SOPs, safety rules, and manuals.
• Skills: strong communication, detail orientation, and teamwork.
• Licenses: valid driver license and box truck certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow DOT guidelines when operating a full-size van/box truck.
• Prepare collection site and perform setup and equipment checks.
• Perform donor screening, mini-physical, and phlebotomy as needed.
• Provide excellent donor experience with professional, empathetic service.
• May operate automation systems and recruit donors for automation.
• Maintain equipment, records, and donor identification accurately.
• Rebook donors for future appointments and ensure safety compliance.
