Job summary

Versiti Blood Research Institute is seeking a Donor Box Truck Driver who will perform phlebotomy collection support and transport mobile staff. You will interact with donors, provide exceptional service, and help maintain a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities include operating DOT-compliant vehicles, donor screening, and supporting automation workflows. Availability includes early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• GED required
• 1-3 years of donor/front-facing experience preferred
• Less than 1 year of job-related experience required

Responsibilities

• Follows all DOT guidelines when operating full-size commercial van/Promaster/box truck, and safely transports staff, supplies, and equipment.
• Performs donor screening (collects donor histories), mini-physical, and phlebotomy.
• Delivers a positive donor experience with professional, empathetic service and responds to inquiries promptly.
• May assist automation (Alyx/Trima) and recruit donors for automation.
• Maintains team culture and supports coworkers through respectful behaviors.
