Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a role that blends on-the-road responsibilities with in-pharmacy duties in California. You will drive to remote kiosk locations, refill kiosks, prepare inventory shipments, and assist pharmacists with dispensing orders.

This position requires a license, clean driving record, and the ability to work with both warehouse and pharmacy teams. The job involves long shifts, driving 8+ hours, and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of experience working with computer and web-based tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.
• Ability to read and understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels.
• Active and unrestricted in-state Driver's License.
• Clean driving record that passes Amazon's Motor Vehicle Checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company vehicle.
• Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory.
• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items as permitted by state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures and regulations.
• Work daily with Leadership to ensure correct medications in orders.
• Run automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
• Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through workflow stages from dispense to QA.
• Count and fill prescription vials and label bulk items.
• Pack and ship completed orders with appropriate labels.
• Sort and triage boxes for shipping.
