Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support kiosk management and in-pharmacy operations. You will drive between Pharmacy locations and remote Kiosk sites, refill kiosks, and assist pharmacists with dispensing while maintaining accurate inventory and shipping workflows.

The role includes preparing orders for customer shipments, counting and labeling prescription items, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory procedures. A flexible schedule may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of computer/web based tools experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid and active driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.
• Ability to read and understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels.
• Clean driving record per Amazon MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations.
• Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication and paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory.
• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Work daily with leadership to ensure correct medications in orders.
• Run automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
• Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
• Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through workflow stages from initial dispense to QC.
• Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk items.
• Pack and ship completed orders with correct labels.
• Sort and triage boxes to ship at the right time.
• Aid Pharmacy Manager and staff with receiving/shipping/counting/packing.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Possibly flexible shifts outside normal hours.
