Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Regional Nuclear Technologist responsible for providing scanning coverage and training in PET/CT procedures across various locations. The ideal candidate will produce high-quality diagnostic images and ensure patient safety, with strong communication skills and the capacity for significant travel.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree or equivalent, NMTCB or ARRT credentialing, and a minimum of three years of experience. Compensation ranges from $67.91 to $77.98 per hour depending on experience and skills.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as NMTCB or ARRT (N) with state license as required.
• 3+ years' experience as a Nuclear Technologist in demanding environments.
• CPR certification and a valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and maintain patient safety.
• Document and adhere to proper techniques handling radioactive materials.
• Troubleshoot scanner and mobile unit equipment.
