Job summary

Akumin Operating Corp. is seeking a regional PET/CT technologist to provide scanning coverage and mobile training across the region.

You will support Team Members in the field, deliver PET/CT procedures, and drive patient-satisfaction improvements through proactive imaging quality and safety practices. As an experienced nuclear medicine technologist, you will coordinate with ADDs and physicians, troubleshoot scanners and peripherals, and travel up to 90% across multiple locations, ensuring

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• NMTCB or ARRT licensing as required.
• 3+ years in nuclear medicine procedures and studies.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images with strong patient safety.
• Communicate with physician groups about PET/CT software and protocols.
• Troubleshoot scanners and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, coils).
• Assist sales team with start-ups and new business as needed.
• Travel up to 90% across multiple locations.
