Job summary

Hawthorne Health in Olympia, WA seeks a Registered Cardiac Sonographer to travel to patient homes, set up portable ultrasound equipment, explain procedures, and perform echocardiograms on adults and children.

You will maintain imaging quality, label images for review, complete preliminary reports, and adhere to ASE guidelines while traveling locally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent sonography experience, in both adult and pediatrics.
• Certification in Adult (AE) is required; Pediatric (PE) optional but a plus.

WHAT YOU BRING | REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer(RDCS)from ARDMS,or Registered Cardiac Sonographer(RCS)from CCI.

• Certification in Adult (AE) is required, Pediatric (PE) certification not required but a plus

• 3+ years of recent sonography experience,in both adult and pediatrics

• Basic Life Support(BLS)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionally

• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet required; Tech savvy andself sufficientwith digital tools

• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings

• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner

• Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments

• Time management and organizational skills

$450 - $600 a day

Rate of pay is per visit, not per day.
