Job summary

Hawthorne-Health is seeking a traveling sonographer to perform echocardiograms in patient homes, transporting and setting up portable ultrasound equipment and guiding patients through procedures. You will document measurements and comments for cardiology review while ensuring patient comfort and safety during imaging.

Ideal candidates hold RDCS/ARDMS or RCS/CCI, with 3+ years of adult and pediatric experience, BLS, a valid driver’s license, and access to a computer with reliable internet.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent sonography experience in adult and pediatric patients.
• RDCS/ARDMS or RCS/CCI certification and BLS required.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING | THE ROLE

WHAT YOU BRING | REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer(RDCS)from ARDMS,or Registered Cardiac Sonographer(RCS)from CCI.

• Certification in Adult (AE) is required, Pediatric (PE) certification not required but a plus

• 3+ years of recent sonography experience,in both adult and pediatrics

• Basic Life Support(BLS)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionally

• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet required; Tech savvy andself sufficientwith digital tools

• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings

• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner

• Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments

• Time management and organizational skills

$450 - $600 a day

Rate of pay is per visit, not per day.
