Job summary

Hawthorne-Health in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a travel sonographer to perform echocardiograms in patient homes and field settings. You will transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment, obtain informed cooperation, and ensure image quality per ASE standards.

The role requires RDCS or RCS certification, adult AE certification, 3+ years pediatric and adult experience, and strong patient communication. Travel locally/regionally with reliable transportation and a computer for digital reports.

Qualifications

• RDCS or RCS certification from ARDMS/CCI.
• Adult AE certification required; pediatric AE not required but a plus.
• 3+ years of recent sonography experience in adult and pediatric patients.
• BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally/regionally.
• Access to a personal computer and internet; tech savvy with digital tools.
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.
• Adaptability in dynamic field-based environments.
• Time management and organizational skills.

WHAT YOU BRING | REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer(RDCS)from ARDMS,or Registered Cardiac Sonographer(RCS)from CCI.

• Certification in Adult (AE) is required, Pediatric (PE) certification not required but a plus

• 3+ years of recent sonography experience,in both adult and pediatrics

• Basic Life Support(BLS)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionally

• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet required; Tech savvy andself sufficientwith digital tools

• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings

• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner

$450 - $600 a day

Rate of pay is per visit, not per day.
