Job summary

Hawthorne Health is seeking a dedicated Traveling Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to join a field-based team in the Dallas area. You will travel to patient homes, operate portable ultrasound equipment, explain procedures, and obtain informed cooperation from participants while performing echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients.

The role emphasizes high-quality imaging, adherence to ASE guidelines, and strong patient communication.

Qualifications

• RDCS from ARDMS or RCS from CCI.
• AE certification required; pediatric not required but a plus.
• 3+ years of recent sonography experience in adult and pediatric patients.
• BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel locally/regionally.
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet; tech savvy.
• Ability to work independently in field settings.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.
• Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments.
• Time management and organizational skills.

WHAT YOU BRING | REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer(RDCS)from ARDMS,or Registered Cardiac Sonographer(RCS)from CCI.

• Certification in Adult (AE) is required, Pediatric (PE) certification not required but a plus

• 3+ years of recent sonography experience,in both adult and pediatrics

• Basic Life Support(BLS)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionally

• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet required; Tech savvy andself sufficientwith digital tools

• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings

• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner

• Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments

• Time management and organizational skills

$450 - $600 a day

Rate of pay is per visit, not per day.
