Job summary

Hawthorne Health seeks an experienced cardiac sonographer to travel to patient homes and conduct echocardiograms using portable equipment. You will explain procedures, obtain cooperation, and ensure quality images for cardiology review.

The role requires ARDMS/CCI certifications, AE, BLS, and 3+ years of pediatric and adult sonography experience. You will travel locally with a focus on patient comfort and safety in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• RDCS/ RCS certification required.
• 3+ years of recent sonography experience (adult and pediatric).
• BLS certification required.

WHAT YOU BRING | REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer(RDCS)from ARDMS,or Registered Cardiac Sonographer(RCS)from CCI.

• Certification in Adult (AE) is required, Pediatric (PE) certification not required but a plus

• 3+ years of recent sonography experience, in both adult and pediatrics

• Basic Life Support(BLS)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionally

• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet required; Tech savvy and self sufficient with digital tools

• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings

• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner

• Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments

• Time management and organizational skills

$450 - $600 a day

Rate of pay is per visit, not per day.
