The Campaign Against Hunger is seeking a Mobile Unit Coordinator to manage food distribution logistics across Brooklyn and Queens. You will coordinate partner communications, plan menus, oversee inventory, and ensure food safety compliance on-site at Arverne and East New York centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in community outreach, logistics, or food distribution preferred
• Moderate computer skills: Excel and Google Sheets

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations at Arverne Food Distribution Center and support partner sites
• Serve as main contact for partners and communicate schedule changes
• Plan menus for pickups and deliveries ensuring variety and nutrition
• Coordinate inventory with Inventory Associate and track stock and storage
• Maintain FIFO inventory practices and ensure safe, sanitary storage
• Record and report distributions using sign-in sheets and monthly metrics
