Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Painter/ Carpenter to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs across multiple commercial facilities. You will handle interior painting, patching, finishing, and structural upkeep.

Under supervision, you’ll use a range of trade skills, review work orders, estimate materials, and ensure safety and compliance with HSE programs. This role supports engineering and technical services and requires strong organization and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Good communication to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Basic math skills (percentages, discounts, markups).
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, repair, and maintenance of the building's structure and grounds.
• Perform repairs and emergency preventative maintenance.
• Interior preparation, painting, touch-up, and finishing of areas in need of painting.
• Utilize patching, painting, and finishing under close supervision.
• Use tools and equipment for coatings such as varnish, polyurethane, primer paint.
• Repair and remodel imperfections and protect surfaces during work.
• Build, dismantle, and repair structures, walls, roofs, siding, scaffolding or fascia.
• Review work orders and estimate time, materials, equipment, and tools.
• Order necessary materials and supplies as needed.
• Review construction documents and specifications.
• Collaborate with staff and stakeholders on prints and sketches.
• Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and stored safely.
• Respond to emergencies and summon assistance as needed.
• Ensure personal safety and safety of others.
• Participate in HSE programs and training as required.
• Report unsafe conditions to management.
• Follow procedures and deliver output under supervision.
