Job summary

Eagle Mine is seeking a mobile maintenance mechanic to service and repair underground mining equipment, drills, bolters, trucks, and muckers. The role includes PMs, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and working in both underground and surface environments.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, reads schematics, and can document work in SAP while mentoring junior technicians. Must adhere to safety protocols and company policies in a demanding mining setting.

Qualifications

Three years of mobile maintenance experience in mining preferred.
Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and drawings.
Willing to work independently with a high safety standard.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, lubrication, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on underground mining equipment.
Maintain and repair drills, bolters, trucks, muckers, and related equipment.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, hydraulics, and electrical diagrams; use OEM manuals.
Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other mining equipment.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities in SAP.
Train and mentor junior mobile maintenance technicians.
