Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years with surface mining equipment, including drills.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work effectively in a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy including SAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre and post operation inspections on mining equipment and service vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance on a fleet of surface mining equipment and service vehicles.
• Troubleshoot unplanned failures on mining equipment.
• Interpret schematics and manuals to repair or replace components.
• Identify replacement parts and communicate needs to the team.
• Complete tasks safely with minimal supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

3 years mining equipment experience

Reading hydraulic and electrical schematics

Diagnose troubleshoot repair electrical and mechanical issues
