Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years in mobile equipment maintenance, underground mining or heavy industrial settings preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems on mobile equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate mobile equipment safely.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices related to underground maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on underground mobile equipment including loaders, trucks, and drills.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential mechanical issues before they lead to equipment failure.
• Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and operators to prioritize repair work and ensure timely resolution of equipment problems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in compliance with company policies.
