Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Transport Team member to care for ill and injured patients on the Mobile Medicine unit. You will provide patient care under Medical Control, maintain certifications, and ensure vehicles are ready for duty.

Responsibilities include timely documentation, safety adherence, and flexible shifts. Candidates must hold SC EMT certification, with NC/SC registry requirements and a valid driver’s license; driving courses may be required.

Qualifications

• SC EMT certification required.
• SC EMT-B and National Registry EMT preferred at time of hire.
• NC EMT-B and National Registry EMT required within 90 days of hire.
• BCLS required.
• Approved trauma certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Current driver’s license with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Care for ill and injured patients as part of transport team.
• Maintain vehicles and ensure readiness of equipment.
• Document patient care accurately and timely for medical records.
• Comply with safety guidelines and state regulations.
• Drive in accordance with Atrium Health policy and department needs.
