Job summary

Atrium Health Fort Mills EMS is seeking a full-time Emergency Medical Technician to join the transport team. You will provide patient care during transport, maintain vehicle readiness, and document care under Medical Control supervision. The role requires a valid SC EMT certification and a clean driving record.

The position supports varied shifts (day/night/weekends), with a competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits. Training and certifications must be maintained per policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current SC EMT certification required; National Registry EMT preferred.
• SC EMT-B and National Registry EMT preferred; NC EMT-B and National Registry required within 90 days.
• Valid driver's license with minimal points; insurability required.

Responsibilities

• Completes skills check with accuracy.
• Maintains base cleanliness and vehicle readiness; restocks supplies.
• Documents patient care accurately and promptly in the medical record.
• Delivers quality patient care per policies and standards of care.
• Follows procedures when Medical Control is unavailable.
• Assists with public relations or marketing activities when needed.
• Adheres to safety guidelines; drives per Atrium Health policy.
