Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to float across market centers, greeting patients and assisting with intake, vitals, and routine procedures. The MA will work closely with PCPs to support efficient patient care and coordinate with other clinical staff.

The position requires a high school diploma or MA program graduation, at least 3 years of MA experience, and BLS certification. EMR experience with EClinicalWorks is preferred, with occasional travel to regional centers as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR comparable healthcare vocational training.
• A minimum of 3 years work experience as a Medical Assistant
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience
• Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room ArchWell Health members; take intake, vital signs, medical history, and perform routine screenings.
• Listen attentively to patients and report changes to PCP, specialists, or other clinical staff.
• Process patient calls, routing to appropriate team members and relaying information to physicians.
• Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures; perform CPR under physician supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and accurate, ethical documentation at all times.
• Provide health coaching with weekly follow-ups to a defined patient group.
• Be available to float to regional centers with short notice; mileage reimbursement applies.
